Atthaya Thitikul Earns First LET Win as a Pro

Atthaya Thitikul, also known by her nickname "Jeeno," is a Thai golf phenom who has been described as a "phenom" for what seems like a phenomenally long time. Playing as an amateur, she won the Ladies European Tour Thailand Championship way back in 2017 when she was only 14 years old.

In 2019, still an amateur, she repeated as champion in that tournament, winning by five strokes at age 16.

When the COVID pandemic hit in 2020, Thitikul had turned pro. But her pro career got off to a slow start because the pandemic kept her cooped up in Thailand. Jeeno earned her first win as a professional golfer in July of 2020 at the Singha-Sat Thai LPGA Championship on the Thai LPGA Tour.

And now, less than a year later, Thitikul has her first win on the Ladies European Tour when playing as a pro (her third LET win overall). On June 27, 2021, Thitikul won the Czech Ladies Open.

Atthaya carded scores of 68 and 68 in the first two rounds. In the final round she shot 65 to finish at 15-under 201 and win by one stroke over the runner-up Nuria Iturrioz.

And guess what: Jeeno is still only 18 years old.

Hyunju Yoo (Hyeonjoo Ryu): Newest Glamour Girl of the KLPGA

First, let's clear up why we've listed two names for this golfer in the headline. When she first came on the scene, she (and everyone else) spelled her name "Hyeonjoo Ryu." But recently on social media, she started spelling it "Hyunju Yoo." And we figure she knows better than anyone how to translate the Korean spelling of her name into an English spelling.

LPGA Golfers Enjoy the Bahamas Beachside and Poolside

Social media gives us a glimpse into the lives of professional golfers the likes of which we could never have gotten a mere 10 years ago. One word tells you all you need to know: "selfie." And when LPGA players visit a tournament site such as, say the Bahamas, selfies sometimes involve bikinis and other swimsuits. The LPGA Tour plays this week at the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic. They are staying at the Atlantis Resort, which has a bevy of pools and other water features for them to enjoy; and are also right on the beach. Make that "beaches," since the resort is surrounded by sand and ocean, too. Below are a few of the swimsuit selfies LPGA golfers have shared on their social media accounts this week.
