First LPGA Win for Charley Hull

Charley Hull, one of the bright young stars in women's golf, broke through for her first LPGA Tour victory in the 2016 season-ender. And it was a big one: the CME Group Tour Championship. Hull was five off the pace following the second round, but a 66 in the third round moved her up to first place. Then Charley fired another 66 in the final round to finish at 19-under 269 and win by two strokes. She even broke the tournament scoring record. Cristie Kerr had the previous mark of 271. Hull, still only 20 years old, appeared in the Solheim Cup playing for Team Europe before she was an LPGA Tour member and before her first professional win. Charley's first Solheim appearance was in 2013; she made the squad again in 2015. Pro win No. 1 happened on the Ladies European Tour in 2014, and her rookie season on the LPGA was in 2015.
