Instagramming with ... Jasmine Finlay

This edition of "Instagramming with ..." is a bit misnamed, because Jasmine Finlay keeps her Instagram page private. However, Finlay often shares photos on both Twitter and Facebook, too.

Who is Jasmine Finlay? She was one of the top amateur golfers in Australia a few years back, but today she is an entrepreneur who runs a golf events company called Golfer Girl.

A while back I was looking at some of Lydia Ko's earliest appearances on the ALPG Tour, and kept running across Jasmine's name in the results. She was playing as an amateur, but posting some good finishes. In Ko's first-ever ALPG win, Jasmine finished (I believe I'm remembering this correctly) 13th, for example.

Finlay is CEO of Golfer Girl, which she started in Australia. The company is described thusly:

We offer our entertainment and talent to Corporate Golf Days, one on one rounds of golf, charity events, social events and have your own personal caddy. Golfer Girl even host their very own golf events.

We are not ordinary Girls. We are much more than a pretty face. All of the Golfer Girls are either professional golfers themselves or have a handicap of no higher than 6.

Our Golfer Girls will always gurantee you, a golf day to remember!

The company website is at golfergirl.com.au. And Jasmine is looking to expand outside of Australia; I know she has made trips to Nevada, for example, looking into expanding the business to the United States.

Here's a photo Jasmine shared with the message, "A woman of many talents #gogodancer":

You can also spot Jasmine in a series of videos she's done with PGA professional Rick Shiels. Search YouTube for "Golfer Girl" or browse Shiels' YouTube page to find her.

LPGA Golfers Enjoy the Bahamas Beachside and Poolside

Social media gives us a glimpse into the lives of professional golfers the likes of which we could never have gotten a mere 10 years ago. One word tells you all you need to know: "selfie." And when LPGA players visit a tournament site such as, say the Bahamas, selfies sometimes involve bikinis and other swimsuits. The LPGA Tour plays this week at the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic. They are staying at the Atlantis Resort, which has a bevy of pools and other water features for them to enjoy; and are also right on the beach. Make that "beaches," since the resort is surrounded by sand and ocean, too. Below are a few of the swimsuit selfies LPGA golfers have shared on their social media accounts this week. First, Danielle Kang: Here are two showing Hee Young Park (left) and her sister Ju Young Park. Ju Young is an LPGA rookie in 2015. Charley Hull IG Photo Roundup

Charley Hull isn't just busy on the golf course these days, but also on Instagram where she frequently posts fun, fetching photos. Including bikini selfies. And the entire golf world says in unison, "Thanks, Charley!" The 25-year-old Charley, by the way, is having a solid 2021 LPGA season, although she's still seeking that victory. As this is written, Hull is No. 38 in the world rankings. Her best LPGA finish so far in 2021 is tied for eighth at the LPGA Drive On Championship in March, but she also has finishes of 14th, 15th and 21st. All the following photos are ones Charley posted on her Instagram account, @charley.hull .
