Sime Darby Gala

The Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia is the first stop on the LPGA's Asian Swing for 2012. One of the nice things about many of the international events is they tend to have gala parties for the players. Those players get glammed up, and some of them like to share photos on Twitters. Like these:

The dresses worn by Natalie, Paula and Michelle were handmade from Malaysian materials in the traditional way. We also see above Lexi Thompson, plus Brittany Lincicome, Sandra Gal and Jessica Korda.

First, let's clear up why we've listed two names for this golfer in the headline. When she first came on the scene, she (and everyone else) spelled her name "Hyeonjoo Ryu." But recently on social media, she started spelling it "Hyunju Yoo." And we figure she knows better than anyone how to translate the Korean spelling of her name into an English spelling.
