Leon is from Monterrey, Mexico, and played college golf at San Jose State. She was the oldest and most experienced professional on Big Break Atlantis, and maybe that played a part in helping Marcela calm her nerves and overcome the competition.
She's made 3 of 4 cuts on the Futures Tour so far in 2012. But for winning BBA, Marcela earned a spot in the field at the upcoming LPGA Kingsmill Championship.
