Lotta Wahlin Retires

Lotta Wahlin has called an end to her career as a tour pro, with the LET's 2012 Prague Golf Masters serving as her final event.

Wahlin, from Sweden, had an 8-year pro career and posted two victories on the Ladies European Tour. Her career was on a major upward path beginning in 2006, when she finished 39th on the LET money list. The following year she improved to 21st. And in 2008, Lotta was 7th on the money list, won two LET tournaments plus another unofficial event.

Unfortunately, a "serious skin illness" arose and derailed her career; she started only two LET tournaments in 2010.

Lotta told the LET's website that she's tired of the travel and will look for a low-stress career, along with possibly going back to school.
