Paula Creamer 2011 Calendar

The Golf Channel's Randall Mell had a blog post today about Paula Creamer skipping the LPGA's Malaysia tournament to play in Japan. Paula loves Japan. And that reminded me: It's about time for the Paula Creamer 2011 calendar. Paula does a calendar shoot every year for Golf Digest Japan. And sure enough, the Paula Creamer 2011 calendar is ready:

Those are the (from top) May, November and December pages from the calendar. Alas, as always, the calendar is available only in Japan. But if you really want a copy, check eBay from time to time. I've seen editions from previous years show up there, although they are rare.

But recently on social media, she started spelling it "Hyunju Yoo." And we figure she knows better than anyone how to translate the Korean spelling of her name into an English spelling.

LPGA Golfers Enjoy the Bahamas Beachside and Poolside

Social media gives us a glimpse into the lives of professional golfers the likes of which we could never have gotten a mere 10 years ago. One word tells you all you need to know: "selfie." And when LPGA players visit a tournament site such as, say the Bahamas, selfies sometimes involve bikinis and other swimsuits. The LPGA Tour plays this week at the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic. They are staying at the Atlantis Resort, which has a bevy of pools and other water features for them to enjoy; and are also right on the beach. Make that "beaches," since the resort is surrounded by sand and ocean, too. Below are a few of the swimsuit selfies LPGA golfers have shared on their social media accounts this week.
