Cindy LaCrosse Wins Futures Tour Title

cindy lacrosseCindy LaCrosse had already clinched the 2010 Duramed Futures Tour money title entering the final tournament of the season. But winning that tournament was a nice valedictory.

LaCrosse defeated Jennifer Song in a playoff for the win at the Price Chopper Tour Championship, officially ending the year as the DFT money leader - and thereby earning her tour card for the 2011 LPGA season.

LaCrosse won three times on the Futures Tour in 2010, and had 11 Top 10 finishes in what was her second season as a pro. She played collegiately at the University of Louisville, where she was a 4-time all-conference selection, won four tournaments, and was an All-American in 2009.

And by winning on the tour championship, LaCrosse also set a new record for most money earned in a DFT season.

LPGA Golfers Enjoy the Bahamas Beachside and Poolside

Social media gives us a glimpse into the lives of professional golfers the likes of which we could never have gotten a mere 10 years ago. One word tells you all you need to know: "selfie." And when LPGA players visit a tournament site such as, say the Bahamas, selfies sometimes involve bikinis and other swimsuits. The LPGA Tour plays this week at the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic. Make that "beaches," since the resort is surrounded by sand and ocean, too. Below are a few of the swimsuit selfies LPGA golfers have shared on their social media accounts this week.
