Anna Nordqvist

anna nordqvist pictures

It was quite the rookie year for Anna Norqvist on the LPGA Tour in 2009: Her first professional victory was a major championship, the LPGA Championship. And her second was the LPGA's inaugural Tour Championship.

Nordqvist wound up second in the Rookie of the Year race, and cracked the Top 10 in the Player of the Year standings.

She's a player known for accuracy and great putting. Despite being a 6-footer, she is not known for distance, but that's something she plans to work on. Anna is pretty darn good as-is; if she adds some yards to those drives, watch out.

But recently on social media, she started spelling it "Hyunju Yoo." And we figure she knows better than anyone how to translate the Korean spelling of her name into an English spelling.
