Day 5 of our series on the "Big Break Prince Edward Island" contestants brings us to Caroline Larsson. Caroline must be considered one of the favorites in BBPEI on the strength of two very good seasons on the Futures Tour. In 2007 Caroline made 15 of 19 cuts with a best showing of second and finished 14th on the money list. In 2008, she improved her scoring average three-quarters of a stroke, made 14 of 17 cuts with a best showing of third, and finished 23rd on the money list.

Swede Caroline is also sweet Caroline, her Golf Channel bio says:

A happy and gregarious person, Caroline Larsson loves playing golf. A smile here and laugh there is her approach to the game, and between giggles, she will toss a few birdies at you. Who wouldn't be happy doing that?

"When people first meet me many of them are surprised that I am so outgoing since I am from Sweden," said Larsson, who finished 23rd on the Duramed Futures Tour money list last year. "I guess people think all Swedes are shy."

Hmm, I've never thought all Swedes are shy. But sometimes it does seem as if all Swedish women are gorgeous. And Caroline does fill that bill.

Hyunju Yoo (Hyeonjoo Ryu): Newest Glamour Girl of the KLPGA

First, let's clear up why we've listed two names for this golfer in the headline. When she first came on the scene, she (and everyone else) spelled her name "Hyeonjoo Ryu." But recently on social media, she started spelling it "Hyunju Yoo." And we figure she knows better than anyone how to translate the Korean spelling of her name into an English spelling.

LPGA Golfers Enjoy the Bahamas Beachside and Poolside

Social media gives us a glimpse into the lives of professional golfers the likes of which we could never have gotten a mere 10 years ago. One word tells you all you need to know: "selfie." And when LPGA players visit a tournament site such as, say the Bahamas, selfies sometimes involve bikinis and other swimsuits. The LPGA Tour plays this week at the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic. They are staying at the Atlantis Resort, which has a bevy of pools and other water features for them to enjoy; and are also right on the beach. Make that "beaches," since the resort is surrounded by sand and ocean, too. Below are a few of the swimsuit selfies LPGA golfers have shared on their social media accounts this week.
