Ana Ivanovic is a professional tennis player, not a pro golfer, but she took part in a photo shoot a golf course in Florida recently as part of a promotional effort for a tennis tournament there. I know from Ivanovic' MySpace page that she does play golf, but how good she is - how avid she is - is uncertain. She's definitely very good at tennis, however, reaching No. 1 in the world rankings at one point in 2008.

According to Waggle Room , with an assist from the Sports Business Journal, Anna Rawson will be introduced this week as a new "Go Daddy Girl." As in GoDaddy.com, the Internet domain name seller and hosting company. Danica Patrick has been a "Go Daddy Girl" for some time.

The photo of Charlotte Campbell above is from a shoot she did for Under Armour's new golf catalog. The photo below shows off Charlotte's Blingo handiwork. Blingo is the name of the ballmarks (and the company) that Charlotte handmakes using Swarovski crystal. The colorful, playful Blingo ballmarks are starting to acquire a nice following among Charlotte's fellow touring professionals, with Paula Creamer and Vicky Hurst among those using Blingo. And while we can't provide any details yet, Charlotte's ballmark company might get a much higher profile later this year at a big event - so keep an eye out. Nicole Hage is a member of the LPGA Tour and the Futures Tour in 2009, but she expects to play most of her events on the Futures Tour. In 2008, Nicole split time between the tours, getting into seven events on the LPGA. But her goal is gaining full LPGA playing privileges, and that means focusing first on the Futures Tour money list. "I decided that this year I was not going to try and do both tours, like I did last year," Nicole said. "... It's not a good idea for me not to commit 100-percent to the Futures. I feel like I could do good things out there this year." A Top 10 finish on the Futures Tour money list earns a player her LPGA card. Nicole is in her second year as a professional. She played collegiately at Auburn University, where she was the 2004 SEC Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year; a four-time all-conference selection; and a four-time NGCA All-American. From the most recent episode of "Celebrity Apprentice," here's Natalie Gulbis as Zappo Girl. Actually, I'm not sure what the name was of the comic book character created by Natalie's team. But the character was created for Zappos.com, so Zappa Girl is what we're going with. Anyway, Natalie received the "honor" of modeling the costume. "While the costume was perfect for what we were going for, it certainly wasn't something I would wear on, or off the golf course," Natalie wrote in her "Apprentice" blog on LPGA.com.

Donna Richardson-Joyner is one of three women recently named spokeswomen to promote the Play Golf America program, Women's Golf Month. Women's Golf Month in 2009 takes place in June. The other two spokeswomen are PGA/LPGA Professional Suzy Whaley and LPGA Tour legend Nancy Lopez. Richardson-Joyner, described as "a new golf enthusiast," is a fitness guru and motivational speaker with multiple best-selling fitness videos, including "Sweating in the Spirit" and the well-known "Buns of Steel." She also serves on the Presidents Council for Physical Fitness and Sports. You'll soon be getting to know Caroline Larsson much better. She is one of the contestants on "Big Break Prince Edward Island" that starts airing on the Golf Channel in April. And she definitely deserves to be considered one of the favorites. Caroline, originally from Sweden, played collegiate golf at Florida State, where she was team captain, an all-conference selection, and a four-time academic All-American. She turned pro in 2006 and has spent two very productive seasons on the Futures Tour. In 2007 Caroline made 15 of 19 cuts with a best showing of second and finished 14th on the money list. In 2008, she improved her scoring average three-quarters of a stroke, made 14 of 17 cuts with a best showing of third, and finished 23rd on the money list. If you're looking for a golfer with a great shot at a breakout season on the Futures Tour in 2009, Caroline is an excellent choice.
