Paige Mackenzie

paige mackenzie picturesNot a bad start to Paige Mackenzie's LPGA Tour career. The rookie carded a 67 in her first round as Tour member to share the lead at the SBS Open with Paula Creamer and Sherri Steinhauer.

Mackenzie is a University of Washington grad and was a member of the 2006 U.S. Curtis Cup team. She was an All-America selection at UW in 2005-06. Mackenzie played her way onto the LPGA Tour by finishing 15th at Q-School.

Her brother Brock plays on the Nationwide Tour.

LPGA Golfers Enjoy the Bahamas Beachside and Poolside

Social media gives us a glimpse into the lives of professional golfers the likes of which we could never have gotten a mere 10 years ago. One word tells you all you need to know: "selfie." And when LPGA players visit a tournament site such as, say the Bahamas, selfies sometimes involve bikinis and other swimsuits. The LPGA Tour plays this week at the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic. They are staying at the Atlantis Resort, which has a bevy of pools and other water features for them to enjoy; and are also right on the beach. Make that "beaches," since the resort is surrounded by sand and ocean, too. Below are a few of the swimsuit selfies LPGA golfers have shared on their social media accounts this week. Charley Hull IG Photo Roundup

Charley Hull isn't just busy on the golf course these days, but also on Instagram where she frequently posts fun, fetching photos. Including bikini selfies. And the entire golf world says in unison, "Thanks, Charley!" The 25-year-old Charley, by the way, is having a solid 2021 LPGA season, although she's still seeking that victory. As this is written, Hull is No. 38 in the world rankings. Her best LPGA finish so far in 2021 is tied for eighth at the LPGA Drive On Championship in March, but she also has finishes of 14th, 15th and 21st.
