That means playing the Florida Natural Charity Classic April 8-10; the Chico's Patty Berg Memorial April 14-17; and the Guardian Retirement Championship at Sara Bay April 22-24. These will be Harter's first Symetra Tour tournaments since the 2014 season, when she had a best showing of tied for 18th. A video posted by CourtneyHarter (@courtneyharter) on Feb 17, 2016 at 1:15pm PST Courtney turned pro in 2012 after an NCAA career at the University of Alabama that included one NCAA victory. Since then she's played events on the Suncoast Series, the Canadian Women's Tour and in Europe, in addition to the Symetra Tour. And twice she Monday qualified to get into the field at LPGA tournaments. Courtney works on her game with well-known instructor Dana Dahlquist. But golf isn't Harter's only way t…

Hailey Ostrom

Hailey Ostrom had posted a slew of Top 10 and Top 5 finishes in her college golf career, but no wins prior to her senior season. Now - after winning the the UCSC Spring Invitational tournament played March 19-20, hosted by UC Santa Cruz in Pacific Grove, Calif. - she has two. She also won during the Fall part of the 2015-16 season. Ostrom's second college win at the UCSC was by one stroke over her George Fox University teammate teammate Sydney Maluenda. George Fox University is an NCAA Division III school and one of the top golf programs at that level. The school is in Newberg, Oregon, plays in the Northwest Conference, and its team nickname is the Bruins. Ostrom is an Oregonian herself, from Bend, Ore., and is in her senior season. We mentioned she's previously had many high tournament finishes. As a freshman she had two Top 10s and one Top 5. As a sophomore, five Top 10s and two Top 5s. And as a junior five Top 10s. And now, she's on win No. 2. You can follow Hal…

Mi Hyang Lee Ties LPGA's 9-Hole Scoring Record

Wow, talk about a hot start: Mi Hyang Lee just tied the LPGA Tour's 9-hole scoring record over the first nine holes of her first round in the LPGA Founders Cup. That record is 27 strokes, and Lee is the fifth golfer in LPGA history to do it. The other four are Amy Yang, Paula Creamer, I.K. Kim and Jimin Kang. Kang was the first, in 2005. Lee, starting on the 10th hole, opened with a birdie and then an eagle. On the 12th hole (her third), she made her only par of the nine. She then reeled off six consecutive birdies to shoot 27, 9-under par on the par-36 nine. Good work if you can get it! You can keep track at the Founders Cup leaderboard.

Su-Ann Heng

Sometimes, a pro golfer has to make a decision to give up on chasing the dream of tour millions. And then comes the question: What next? For Su-Ann Heng, the answer is: Plenty. Su-Ann retired from the life of a tour pro but today is just as immersed in golf as ever as an instructor and a broadcaster. Ahhh, why not. A little range work while I'm back here in Orlando. #getmesomerentals #onthegrind #summer #lovethisgameA video posted by Su-Ann Heng (@suannheng) on Aug 17, 2015 at 9:10am PDT Heng, a native of Singapore and graduate of Singapore Management University, turned pro in 2011 after many years as part of the Singapore National Team. Model Golfer (and Newly Victorious) Tisha Alyn Abrea

A photo recently posted to social media by Tisha Alyn Abrea caught our eye, and it's easy to see why: This was a shot taken on behalf of one of Tisha's sponsors, VYB-X Active Bands. And it reminded me of something I've always thought: Why do golf brands bother hiring professional models? There are so many women in professional golf who'd be great at modeling in apparel catalogs or in any golf company's advertising or website. Hiring pro golfers as your models is also a great way to support women's golf. Tisha, as is plainly obvious to anyone with eyes, is certainly qualified for modeling gigs. So we checked in with her to see what's happening in that part of her career. "It's a field I'm trying to branch into and I'm definitely interested in," Abrea told us, speaking of modeling. "Becoming a golf model/fitness model is something I've always wanted to do." And she has had contact with a modeling agency; Tisha has also …
