McKenzie Lyng Branching Out

McKenzie Lyng - you might know her better by her maiden name, McKenzie Jackson - is branching out into acting. The former Big Break cast member can currently be seen on TV appearing in her first commercial for the skincare product Proactiv. McKenzie is featured in the clip below that stars Sarah Michelle Gellar, and first appears at the 33-second mark:

Shorter versions of the commercial, ones focusing on Lyng's story alone, are also currently airing on select channels and in select markets.

"I am trying to get more into the commercials and different acting roles - hopefully some more opportunities come my way," McKenzie told us. To that end, she recently signed with an agency.

But she's still a professional golfer, too. She was known as McKenzie Jackson when she competed on the Golf Channel's Big Break Mexico series. But she became McKenzie Lyng on Oct. 25, 2014.

McKenzie's golf plans this year are to play Cactus Tour and Canadian Tour events, working her way toward LPGA Q-School.

In scores, Korean golfer Jeongeun Lee's name often includes the number "6." It appears in the scores as Jeongeun Lee6, for example. Or, sometimes, as Jeongeun6 Lee.

Hyunju Yoo (Hyeonjoo Ryu): Newest Glamour Girl of the KLPGA

First, let's clear up why we've listed two names for this golfer in the headline. When she first came on the scene, she (and everyone else) spelled her name "Hyeonjoo Ryu." But recently on social media, she started spelling it "Hyunju Yoo." And we figure she knows better than anyone how to translate the Korean spelling of her name into an English spelling.
