The Golfers in the 2015 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue

No, alas, there are no LPGA players or other pro golfers featured in the 2015 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. But that doesn't mean there aren't models who golf. In fact, there are at least three golfers among the models who appear in the swimsuit issue this year.

The one with the most famous connection to golf is Caroline Wozniacki, one of two professional athletes who appear in the issue. Wozniacki, of course, dated Rory McIlroy for a while and they got very close to marriage before splitting. And Caroline, a top tennis player, took up golf herself during that time.

Here is a behind-the-scene video of Wozniacki's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue shoot:

One of the supermodels featured in the 2015 swimsuit issue is Nina Agdal, and Nina's love of golf is well-established. Visit her Instagram account and you'll find some golf pics and even some golf videos, such as these:

And the third golfer among the 2015 Sports Illustrated swimsuit models is Kelly Rorhbach - she played in college at Georgetown. Here's an image from Kelly's Instagram:

Hyunju Yoo (Hyeonjoo Ryu): Newest Glamour Girl of the KLPGA

First, let's clear up why we've listed two names for this golfer in the headline. When she first came on the scene, she (and everyone else) spelled her name "Hyeonjoo Ryu." But recently on social media, she started spelling it "Hyunju Yoo." And we figure she knows better than anyone how to translate the Korean spelling of her name into an English spelling.

LPGA Golfers Enjoy the Bahamas Beachside and Poolside

Social media gives us a glimpse into the lives of professional golfers the likes of which we could never have gotten a mere 10 years ago. One word tells you all you need to know: "selfie." And when LPGA players visit a tournament site such as, say the Bahamas, selfies sometimes involve bikinis and other swimsuits. The LPGA Tour plays this week at the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic. They are staying at the Atlantis Resort, which has a bevy of pools and other water features for them to enjoy; and are also right on the beach. Make that "beaches," since the resort is surrounded by sand and ocean, too. Below are a few of the swimsuit selfies LPGA golfers have shared on their social media accounts this week. First, Danielle Kang: Here are two showing Hee Young Park (left) and her sister Ju Young Park. Ju Young is an LPGA rookie in 2015.
