Lexi Thompson's 'Golf Punk' Photo Shoot

If you're a Lexi Thompson fan (heck, even if you're not - but, c'mon, how many Golf Babes readers aren't?) you'll definitely want to check out the latest online edition of Golf Punk magazine. It features an interview with the LPGA wunderkind, accompanied by a photo shoot that proves "little" Lexi is all grown up.

Here's a screenshot of the title page:

And here's a quartet of images that Lexi posted on Instagram, calling these "some of my favorite images" from the Golf Punk shoot:

If you're not familiar with Golf Punk, it's a UK magazine that was around for many years as a print publication. After a hiatus of several years, it relaunched a few years back as an online publication. Golf Punk has always presented golf with an attitude, and since it is aimed primarily at a male audience it has always presented golf with babes, too. Each issue typically features a "Bunker Babes" section (models posing on golf courses) and/or a "Swinging Sirens" section, which includes photo shoots with professional golfers or with celebrities who golf. Or, to put it another way, Golf Punk gets the Golf Babes seal of approval. We've highlighted Golf Punk content here several times before.

Lexi's photo shoot is accompanied by an interview, and keeping with the Golf Punk approach, the questions asked are not necessarily your typical golf questions. Some of them are cheeky. Here's is Lexi's response to one:

The best pickup line I've ever heard? Hah ... It has to be, 'Girl are you tired? Because you've been running through my mind all day.'

Hmmm, I have a feeling Lexi will be hearing much better than that going forward.

Why There's a 6 at the End of Jeongeun Lee's Name

Should we say that Jeongeun Lee possesses quite a bit of ... six appeal? If you follow women's golf and, specifically, check the scores of tournaments, then you have noticed something odd. In scores, Korean golfer Jeongeun Lee's name often includes the number "6." It appears in the scores as Jeongeun Lee6, for example. Or, sometimes, as Jeongeun6 Lee.

Hyunju Yoo (Hyeonjoo Ryu): Newest Glamour Girl of the KLPGA

First, let's clear up why we've listed two names for this golfer in the headline. When she first came on the scene, she (and everyone else) spelled her name "Hyeonjoo Ryu." But recently on social media, she started spelling it "Hyunju Yoo." And we figure she knows better than anyone how to translate the Korean spelling of her name into an English spelling.
