Sydnee Michaels Responds to GD's Controversial Fitness Cover

Don't know if you've been following the controversy, but a lot of people are upset that when Golf Digest finally put another woman on its cover the magazine chose a pseudo-celebrity (Paulina Gretzky) instead of, you know, an actual professional golfer. I can see Golf Digest's side of things: The magazine is purchased overwhelmingly by men, so let's put a hot babe on the cover (and far be it for the proprietor of Golf Babes to scold some other publication for running pics of hot babes!) and maybe we'll sell more copies.

But there are plenty of hot babes who play golf on the LPGA Tour. And given that the issue in question is the fitness issue, they weren't even limited to photographing top players. An actual LPGA golfer hasn't appeared on a Golf Digest cover since 2008.

LPGA Tour member Sydnee Michaels made the point her own way, posting this on Twitter:

And what photo did Sydnee attach to her tweet? This one:

Well played.

Should we say that Jeongeun Lee possesses quite a bit of ... six appeal? If you follow women's golf and, specifically, check the scores of tournaments, then you have noticed something odd. In scores, Korean golfer Jeongeun Lee's name often includes the number "6." It appears in the scores as Jeongeun Lee6, for example. Or, sometimes, as Jeongeun6 Lee.

Hyunju Yoo (Hyeonjoo Ryu): Newest Glamour Girl of the KLPGA

First, let's clear up why we've listed two names for this golfer in the headline. When she first came on the scene, she (and everyone else) spelled her name "Hyeonjoo Ryu." But recently on social media, she started spelling it "Hyunju Yoo." And we figure she knows better than anyone how to translate the Korean spelling of her name into an English spelling.
