Annie Park

Congratulations to Annie Park, winner of the 2013 NCAA Women's individual championship - and leader of the team champions, the University of Southern California.

USC steamrolled to victory, winning by 23 shots. And Park took the individual lead in the third round and didn't give it up, winning by six strokes over Duke's Lindy Duncan.

Park is just the seventh freshman to win the NCAA women's individual championship. Her 72-hole score was 10-under 278. You could say that Park finished her freshman year on a strong run: She won the PAC-12 conference championship, was co-medalist in the NCAA West Regional, and now has the NCAA crown.

Although she plays for USC, Park is a New Yorker. Length off the tee is one of her strong suits, something that helped her win the Nassau boys championship while just a junior at high school - setting a tournament scoring record (at Bethpage Black, no less) in the process.

With such an impressive run behind her, there is already speculation that Park is ready to turn pro.

Lizette Salas

Lizette Salas recently changed her Twitter avatar to this photo, and it's a good choice. Lizette is having quite a breakout year in 2013. She's a shoo-in to make the US Solheim Cup team, and seems right on the verge of posing her first LPGA victory.

Jessica Korda

Jessica Korda shared this lovely photo on Instagram, tweeting it out to her followers as well (@JessicaKorda).

Best wishes for a speedy recovery for Jessica. She is suffering from a wrist injury that hampered her play at the North Texas Shootout and caused her withdrawal from Kingsmill.
